Cross, age 76, of Hillsboro, Mo., died Friday, March 15, 2013, at his second home in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was a long time resident of Hillsboro, Mo. He was born December 27, 1936 in St. Louis, Mo. and was the son of the late Raymond and Rose Marie (Neitcher) Cross. Charles graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1954, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for National Rejectors for 27 years before starting his own business, Midwest Associates, located in Hillsboro, Mo. in 1982. Charles operated this business with his family over the past 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Scharlotte (Robert) Baker of Florida; and brother, Gilbert Cross of Hillsboro. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Ann (Huskey) Cross of Hillsboro; two daughters, Debra (Glen) Politte of Hillsboro, and Diane (Brian) Hunter of Arizona; two sisters, Rosellen (Richard) Shaffer of St. Louis, Mo., and Mary (John) Graham of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Chase, and Jules. The funeral will be held March 29, 2013 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in DeSoto, Mo. Burial will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
