HUFFMAN, Loma Lois

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Loma Lois Huffman (July 29, 1939 - April 1, 2013) Loma Lois Lane Huffman passed on Monday, April 1, 2013 in her home with family by her side. Born July 29, 1939 in Winslow, Arizona to E.C. and Lillian Lane. Loma spent most of her life in Arizona, from Winslow to Phoenix, to Flagstaff and finally Cottonwood, where she has lived for the last 10 years. Loma loved life and found joy in spending time with family and friends, enjoying the gift of laughter each and every day. Even in her final days she looked for ways to make those around her smile. She took pride in her role as wife, mother, daughter and friend. She faced each day of her journey with dignity and grace, displaying a quiet strength that those who knew her, saw in her every day. Loma is survived by her husband of 50 years, Sam, two daughters; Chere and Kim and their children Sabrina (Chere), Allyse and Aaron (Kim), three stepsons; Mike, David and Paul, and their children and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Citizens Cemetery, Flagstaff, AZ at 2:00pm, Friday, April 5, 2013. Norvel Owens Mortuary of Flagstaff is handling the arrangements. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Northern Arizona Hospice, Cottonwood or the ALS Foundation.
