Walter Kornatowski, 66, died Nov. 21, 2012, in Snowflake, after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Scranton, Pa., to Alphonse and Helen Kornatowski.
Walt moved to Phoenix in 1980 with his family and spent his last 14 years in Snowflake, where he was an active and a valued member of the community.
Walt was a talented, smart, quick-minded man. As a master carpenter and amazing inventor, he could do or make anything he set his mind to. Also, he had the best sense of humor and delighted in practical jokes. His granddaughters looked forward to his birthday cards every year because they were always so funny. He is missed very much by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter Tracey; son Jeff; grandson Dillon; granddaughters: Jessica, Amanda, Emilie, Lily and Ava and his sister Marcia McIntyre.
Walt was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Cedar Hills Senior Center, off of Concho Highway in Snowflake. His family invites you to come and remember Walt with them.
