West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Friday, April 05, 2013 Ruth Warkentin Fisher, 95, of Litchfield Park died March 31, 2013, in Goodyear. Mrs. Fisher was born June 29, 1917, to Gustav and Elma Warkentin in Salt Lake City. She grew up and raised her family in California. She was a homemaker and active in the Children's Sunday School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired to Arizona in 2005. She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Wilkerson of Des Moines, Wash.; two sons, Joseph Fisher of Litchfield Park and M. Dennis Fisher of Sacramento, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be in California.
