MYERS, Robert Willard

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, April 04, 2013 Robert Willard Myers, 94, went to be with his savior on April 2, 2013, in Peoria, Ariz. He was born to Willard and Loura Myers on April 9, 1918, in his parents' home in Pittsburg, Kan. He married Vivian La Von Ferguson in 1942 and they moved to Phoenix in 1954. Robert retired from Salt River Project in 1980 and they moved to Prescott, Ariz., to enjoy their retirement years. He is preceded by his wife Vivian; his parents; sister; two brothers; and great-grandson. He is survived by his daughter Joyce (Dan) Archer of Laveen; son James Myers of Prescott; grandchildren David (Dee) Barber, Kathi Barber, Steve (Jennifer) Myers and Russell (Amy) Myers; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. with a celebration of his life 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Ariz.
