Marilyn Jane Hart, 79, passed away peacefully in Lake Havasu City March 27, at the Serenity Assisted Living Home, where she received excellent care in her last days.
She was a 1951 graduate of Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wis. She was married to her beloved husband Lee, for nearly 60 years. They worked together at Illingworth Corporation and retired together, first at home in Milwaukee and then to Lake Havasu City. Marilyn was a boater who spent countless hours on the waters of Lake Michigan, the Mississippi River and Lake Havasu. She was an avid reader, a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, a card player and also loved her trips to the AVI and Laughlin for video poker. She was a woman who’s infectious laugh touched all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Leland of Lake Havasu City; her children, Sherry (Jim) Radcliffe of Kentucky and Ken Hart of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, JR (Liz) Radcliffe, Justin, Tyler and Jordan Hart, all of Wisconsin, Nikki Radcliffe of Illinois and her great-grandson, Owen Radcliffe whom she had a chance to meet in her final year. She also is survived by her brother, Russell (Pat) Anderson of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Ruth Anderson.
A memorial service will be at the Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Tuesday, April 9 at 11 a.m., Chaplain Sandra Johnson officiating.
