Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Marcella Ann Ward (April 17, 1949 - April 4, 2013) Marcella Ann Ward passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side April 4th, 2013. She had a heart full of love for Jehovah, family and friends! She was born April 17th, 1949 to Michael and Mary Virginia Valdez in Dragerton (Carbon), Utah. She was raised in Durango, Co. She married Ernest Lee Ward July, 7th 1970. They lived in Lawndale, Redondo Beach and Torrance, California before settling in Snowflake Arizona. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Marcella is survived by her parents, Joe and Virginia Willcoxon of Copperas Cove Texas; her husband Ernest Ward of Snowflake Arizona; her brothers Miguel Valdez of Bloomfield New Mexico and Mark Valdez of Riverside California; her daughter Serena and (Russell) Mallon of Escondido California; her two grandsons Paul and Christopher Mallon; and all her loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marlayna Lee Ward, her brother Daniel Valdez and her father Michael Valdez Jr. Services are pending and will be held at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, 201 E. Whipple St. Show Low, Arizona.
