JORDAN, JR., William (Bill)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/12/2013 William Jordan “Bill” Jr. died April 4, 2013, at Banner Hospice in Phoenix. He was born Aug. 25, 1952, in McNary to William Jordan and Phyllis Bowyer. In high school, Bill participated in track. He graduated from Snowflake High School in 1971. He started work at Snowflake Papermill as a yard man and throughout 34 years worked up to fire marshall. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being with friends, loved ones and telling his jokes. He is survived by his sister, Susan Biddle (Jim); son William Jordan III; daughter Cindy Pearce and six grandchildren, which he loved and adored dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, William Jordan “Shorty” and his mother Phyllis Bowyer Jordan; two sisters, Diane Jordan and Dolores Warner. A memorial service is planned for April 14 at “Rippyville” in Vernon.
