Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on April 11, 2013 - Robert Edward Sides III, age 29, passed away from a sudden illness on Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Anaheim, Calif. His early years were spent in Downey, Calif., where he was born on Wednesday, May 11, 1983. After moving to Wynne, Ark., home schooling appeared the best available option and academic improvement was seen instantly. He continued on to earn an associate's degree in information technology after relocating to Kingman. Later, he landed a job at Stockman's Bank as network administrator. He went on to a job working for the costumes department at Disneyland, and eventually started a successful online retail venture that he maintained throughout his exhaustive work on The Queen Project and The Island of Long Beach renovation projects in Long Beach, Calif. He loved learning new things, spending time with family, and antiquing with his mother, Joy. He is survived by his mother and father, Joy and Robert Sides; grandparents, Harvey and Sheila Neumann; grandmother, Peggy Sides; and aunt, Heidi O'Conner, all of Kingman. He is also survived by his two brothers and their families, Chris Sides (Brenda) and Eric of Nashville, Tenn., Steve Sides Ostberg, Stephen, Julia, Trinity, Kathe and Erika of Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services and a celebration of his life potluck dinner will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St. in Kingman.
