SHEPHERD, Eugene (Gene) Eldon

Eugene (Gene) Eldon Shepherd was born in Truemann, Ark., on July 30, 1931. He was the son of Amos and Hattie Shepherd.

Gene gracefully went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2013.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Louise Shepherd of 61 years. They showed us all how to truly love one another. He was an excellent father of five sons and one daughter, Dennis, Sheila, Dave, Gaylon, Steve and Greg. Gene was also very proud of his grandchildren, 11 grandsons and one granddaughter, Shane, Davy, Rachel, Dany, Roby, Michael, Joey, Sammy, Sterling, Andrew, Timmy and André. Gene adored his 18 great grandchildren as well.

A limb has fallen from our family tree. Gene lived a full and blessed life. He will be missed, but never forgotten. His love will always be our guide.
