Esperanza R. Hernandez, 92, of Goodyear died April 7, 2013.

Mrs. Hernandez was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Glendale to Francisco and Maria del Refugio Rivera.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Hernandez; one daughter, Emily Anne Gonzalez; two brothers, Victor Rivera and Jose Feliz Rivera; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was Thursday at Advantage Crystal Rose Chapel in Tolleson. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson.
