Hampton Funeral Home and Cremation, Prescott, Arizona JAY WILLIAM LEWIS May 29, 1952 - April 5, 2013 Prescott native, Jay William Lewis, age 60, died on April 5, 2013 in Prescott. He was born on May 29, 1952 at the Yavapai Community Hospital in Prescott to James L. Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Mosley Lewis. Jay attended local grade school and graduated from Prescott High School in 1969. He then attended Northern Arizona University. He worked with his father at Prescott Lumber and Roofing Company for four years. He went on to own and operate Prescott Roofing for ten years. Then, he and his sister, Janice owned and operated Aloha Cellular. Jay is survived by his brothers, John and Jimbo, his sister Janice, and numerous aunts, uncles, and nieces. Per Jay’s request, private family services were conducted. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 5025 E. Washington St., Suite 102, Phoenix, AZ 85034.
