HOOD, Therese (Teri)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, April 13, 2013 Therese "Teri" Hood, 87, of Prescott, Ariz., died on April 6, 2013. Teri was born in Central Falls, R.I., to Albani and Fabiola Plante. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Myki. Teri is survived by her husband Paul Hood; children Frank (Marina) Lemieux of Brooklyn, N.Y., Michael (Micki) Lemieux of Stamford, Conn., David (Linda) Lemieux of Montville, Conn., Joseph (Cristine) Lemieux of Norwich, Conn., Carole (Mick) Popovics of Webster, Mass., Patricia (Ron) Lewis of Clinton, Conn., Stephen Lemieux of Norwich, Conn. and Kenneth (Joann) Lemieux of Waterford, Conn.; brother Robert (Sandy) Plante of Rhode Island; sisters Helene Courtemanche of Rhode Island, Estelle Plante of Massachusetts and Delores Plante of Massachusetts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Teri was a member of CARR - Central Arizona Road Riders. She loved crocheting, raising her nine children, and the Phoenix Symphony. Teri traveled to 25 countries by motorcycle. She was proudest of her family and loving husband Paul. A celebration of Teri's life will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St. in Prescott.
