Richard M. Hudson, 86, was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Waukena, Calif. He died April 9, 2013, in Prescott, Ariz.

Richard "Dick" Hudson was a kind and generous man. Born into very tough circumstances, he provided for his family though many small businesses, often working long hours. Dick treated everyone the same, from the banker to the waitress. He leaves a legacy of hard work, personal responsibility, honesty and love. Dick and his late wife Laura cared for their son Rick for years before he succumbed to MS in 1991, and cared deeply about their grandchild, Rick's son Jesse. 

Dick is survived by Jesse and his wife Amy, and their two daughters, Grace and Emma Hudson. 

The Sunrise Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
