Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, April 14, 2013 - Dia Ann Farrell (Mead) passed away March 15, 2013 in Kingman. She was born Feb. 6, 1939 in Neosho, Mo. She married Ray Farrell on Dec. 11, 1954. They spent most of their lives in Pittsburg, Kan., and Lake Havasu City. Dia co-owned and operated Royalty Too Beauty Shop in Pittsburg. While in Lake Havasu, she owned and operated Shear Country Beauty Shop and sold real estate for Century 21. She is survived by son and daughter in law, Scott and Mari; son, Tim; grandsons and wives, Jake and Martha and Jared and Cassie; great-grandson, Chance; brothers, Dan, DW and Ted Mead; sister, Donna Horning; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; daughter-in-law, Kelley; and grandson, Joshua. Dia was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
