Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Clara Johanna Nichole Morris October 23, 1990 ~ April 12, 2013 Funeral services for Clara Johanna Nichole Morris, affectionately known as Nichole by her family and friends, age 22, of Safford, will be conducted Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 12:00 noon, in the Solomon LDS Chapel, by Bishop Neal Montierth of the Safford First Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery. Nichole entered into eternal life Friday, April 12, 2013, at the University Medical Center in Tucson, from complications of Cystic Fibrosis, a disease she had valiantly fought her entire life. Nichole was born October 23, 1990 in Mesa, Arizona, and lived in Mesa during her early years. Nichole’s teenage years were spent in Safford, growing up and playing with family members. She attended Safford High School and Mt. Graham High School. Nichole enjoyed music, hanging with friends and camping with her family on Mt. Graham, at the Morris Family reunions. Nichole is survived by: her mother, Johanna Gale of Safford; her father, Steven Gale of Tempe; her fiancé, Justin Powelson of Safford; her sisters, Kathleen Gale and April Salzman; her brothers, Steven Gale and Jimmie Gale; and her paternal grandfather, William Franklin Gale, Sr. Nichole is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Nichole was preceded in death by: her sister, Lasha Gale; her maternal grandparents, Rulen and Vesta Morris and Deola Morris; her paternal grandmother, Elaine Gale; her aunt, Elena Morris; her uncle, James Morris; and her cousin, Roger Morris. Family will receive friends Saturday morning, April 20, 2013, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m., in the Solomonville LDS Chapel Relief Society Room.
