Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, April 16, 2013 >> Loren George Petersen << Loren Petersen passed away April 11, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born to George and Emma Petersen in Davenport, Iowa March 21, 1921. He served in the Army and retired from the FDA in 1981, moving to Lake Havasu City. Loren was married to Betty Petersen for 62 years and has been living in Lake Havasu for the past 32 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, music and dancing. Loren is survived by his loving wife, Betty, and his four daughters: Marcia Walther (Greg), of Roseburg, Ore.; Carolynn Joyce (Michael), of Blackwood, N.J.; Lori Felish, of Lake Havasu City and Mitsy Petersen, of Golden Valley. Loren will be missed by all including his nine grandchildren, McKenzie, Tom, Angela, Christine, Kelly, Stephanie, Kimberlee, Meagan and Avery Loren and six great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Sydney, Blair, Easton, Zoey and Blakelee Loren.
