Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 Gordon V. Perkins Passed away April 9, 2013. Born son of M. Vinton Perkins of Baltimore and Alice Morgenthau Perkins of NYC, NY on July 24, 1931. An executive with Addison-Wesley and Appleton -Century-Croft publishing companies of Boston, New York and San Francisco. In recent years Mr. Perkins and his wife were volunteers with the National Park Service in Flagstaff. During the 1950’s Mr. Perkins served as an Infantry Officer in the 1st Marine Division deployed to Korea. He is survived by his wife, Nona, son Scott of Sacramento, CA., daughters Gail of Atlanta, GA. and Tana of Denver, CO, and brother Roger Perkins of Auburn, California.
