Rose Marie Van Matre passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 in Lake Havasu City. She was born May 18, 1925 in Abie, Neb. to Anton and Rose (Svoboda) Vanis.

Rose Marie retired in Phoenix, 25 years ago with her husband of 56 years, Jack Sr. and seven years ago she made Lake Havasu City her residence.

She is survived by her son, Jack and his wife Judy of Lake Havasu City; three grandchildren, Kerry, James and Shani and her husband, Jason Bruce of Lake Elsinore, Calif. and one great-grandson, Dakota Bruce also of Lake Elsinore.

A private service will take place at a later date in David City, Neb.
