John Jerome Trainor, 81, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Lake Havasu City. He was born May 17, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa. to John and Kathryn (Jennings) Trainor.
John served his country in the US Navy for four years and in the US Air Force for three years. He moved to Lake Havasu City 21 years ago, coming from Big Bear, Calif. where he lived for five years. John was involved in many things, including Ham Radio operator, Private Pilot, off-roading, rock-hounding, autoracing, model railroads and facebook communicating.
John was a member of the Lake Havasu Ham Radio Club and especially enjoyed his weekly meals at local restaurants with his Ham Radio friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John is survived by his brother, Joseph Trainor; son, Timothy Patrick Trainor; granddaughters, Amber Dawn and Kayla Grace Trainor and Erin Noel Bedoe; grandsons, Ryan, Jonathan and Brandon Bedoe; great grandsons, Hayden, Hunter, Landon and Braydon; great granddaughters, Ashley, Lexi, McKenna, Emily and Maci and helpmate, Patricia Trainor. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynne Ann Bedoe; father, John Trainor and mother, Kathryn Trainor.
Funeral Service will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
