POISSANT, Irving (Irv)

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on April 19, 2012 - Irving "Irv" Poissant, 85, a native of Minnesota, passed away at the home of friends on Monday, March 25, 2013, in Wikieup, Ariz. Irv was born Jan. 7, 1928, to Albert and Sophia Poissant. He served two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy. He was also an active member of AA for 46 years. Irv loved to fish, bowl, watch baseball, gamble, do a bit of gardening and visit with family and friends. We will miss his laughter and smiles. He is survived by his children, Sandy, Tim, Jackie, Ginger, Brian and Philip; both grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice, Connie, Betty, Donna and Pauline; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Alvin, Harvey and Paul "Butch"; and an infant sister. A memorial will take place in Minnesota.
