SHERWOOD, Larry Graham

Larry Graham Sherwood, born January 16, 1958 in Globe, died April 15, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born the youngest of three children to Norval and Barbara Sherwood, he spent his years growing-up in Globe. After serving a two year mission in Barcelona, Spain, Larry graduated with a BS in insurance from Arizona State University. In 1981 he married his eternal sweetheart, Linda Faas. He was a succesful insurance agent and partner at Schacfer, Smith, Ankeney Insurance for 21 enjoyable years. In addition to his work, he loved golf, watching baseball, going to the beach with his family and had a passion for his ASU Sundevils. He served in many capacities in the LDS church, including Bishop and High Councilman. Most of all, he was a proud and loving husband, father, son, friend and grandfather. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, wife Linda, children Meghan(Jared), Courtney, Bethany, Tyler and adored grandsons Griffin and Jax. Visitation will be at Bunkers Downton Mesa Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way on Tuesday, April 19 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing an hour before at the Citrus Heights Stake Center, located at 2549 N. 32nd St., in Mesa.
