The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Monday, April 22, 2013 Ronald W. Thoms of Paulden, Ariz. went to be with the Lord April 20, 2013. He is survived by his wife Zora; daughter Jody Steckline (Donald); son Steven Thoms (LaDonna); grandchildren Cally Grado (Zak), Bradley Thoms; great grandchildren, Jacob Steckline and Reinne Steckline, all from Estes Park, Colo.; great grandchildren from Loveland, Colo. are Rowan Welch and Brynn Welch; sister Barbara Janas of McHenry, Ill. He married his wife Zora in 1955, and had 57 great years together. Ronald worked for the City of Park Ridge in Park Ridge, Ill. for 29 years. He moved to Estes Park, Colo., where he had an auto repair and body shop, "Carl's Garage & Steve's Auto Body." He was past commander of the American Legion Post in Estes Park, Colo. Ronald has lived in Paulden for the last eight years. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. April 25, 2013, at Saving Grace Lutheran Church, Highway 89, Chino Valley, Ariz. Memorial service at Estes Park, Colo., will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Saving Grace Lutheran Church. Information provided by survivors.
