Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from April 17 to April 24, 2013 - Patricia "Pat" Butts, age 74, a 23-year resident of Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was born October 7, 1938 in Saginaw, Mich. Pat was an executive secretary for the Director of Public Relations at GMC. She also was the co-owner and operator of a tourist resort on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. Pat was president of G.M. Girls' Club in Saginaw, Mich., a member of the Northern Ontario Tourist Association, and a volunteer to many services. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and Karl Ahrens. She is survived by her husband, Donald; son, David (Shelly) Butts of Columbia Falls, Mont.; grandchildren, Kyra and Kody Butts of Columbia Falls, Mont.; brothers, Robert (Mary) Ahrens of Saginaw, Mich., and C. Thomas Ahrens of The Villages, Fla.; sister-in-law, Sally Butts-Zahnow of Evansville, Ontario, Canada. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Community Lutheran Church, 2275 Rica Road, Bullhead City, Ariz. with Reverend Robert Jones officiating.
