Lawrence Richard Dick Lynch, 76, died early Monday morning May 28, 2007 in his home, in Tempe, AZ of an extended illness.
Born and raised in Union City, Indiana he worked with his father at Lynch Supply Co., selling industrial and electrical supplies. Dick served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge.
He moved to Arizona in 1969 where he worked as a salesman for Greybar Electric and J. E. Redmond Supply Co. He found the job he loved late in life working for Allstate Energy.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sherron; his sons, Rich of Tempe, Mike of Castro Valley, CA, and Chris of Tempe; his daughter, Debbie Hart of Phoenix; and three grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Anne French of Carmel, Indiana; and his brother, Charles Lynch of Greenville, Ohio.
The family will have a wake at their home in Tempe, AZ on Saturday, June 9, 2007. Dick's remains will be buried at Union City Cemetery in Union City, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
