Clay Reed (Pa), 84, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007.
He was born July 29, 1922 in Pima, Arizona.
He is a graduate of Mesa High School. Clay served during WWII in the U.S. Army Signal Corp.
He married Ila May Porter on September 25, 1942 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He is survived by his sons, Bill (Claudia), Rodney (Sharla), Brian (Bonnie), and Brett; daughters, Beverly Wilstead (David), Darlene Jarvis (Dan), Sharon Allen (Dan--deceased), and Lynette Penrod (Wayne). His posterity includes 48 grandchildren, 111 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In later life he was married to Marguerite Reed.
Visitation was held on Thursday June 7, 2007, at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 North Centennial Way. The funeral services were held on Friday, June 8, at the LDS Chapel, 525 E 2nd Ave. (south of the temple).
