BETTENCOURT, Eva F.

Eva F. Bettencourt, 87, of Ossining, NY, died May 26, 2007 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx. Mrs. Bettencourt was born November 18, 1919 in Taunton, MA, the daughter of the late Francisco and the late Gloria (Silveira) Rodriques. She graduated from High School in Taunton, MA. Eva was a secretary for Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA for 35 years. She was a resident of Taunton and Attleboro MA for approximately 65 years, after that was a resident of Cold Spring, NY for 10 years, then a resident of Scottsdale, AZ for 8 years and recently a local resident of Mt. Kisco, Somers and Ossining for the past 3 years. Eva will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a loyal friend. She was known for her warm and caring nature and her love of animals. Eva is survived by her grandsons: Blair and Lance Schulman of Mt. Kisco, NY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bettencourt; her daughter, Janice M. Bettencourt; her brother, Arthur F. Rodriques; and her sister, Mary F. Rodriques.
