Judith Anne Reeves
(February 23, 1944 - April 19, 2013)
Judith Anne Reeves, 69, went to be with the Lord April 19, 2013, in Snowflake, Arizona, surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with illness. Judith was born February 23, 1944 in Christiansburg, Virginia, to parents Samuel Virgil Whitten and Katherine Anne Whitten (Knighton).
She was a mother, wife, and widow. Her hands created beautiful, useful things. She was an extraordinary gardener. The plant divas and fairies loved her. Everything around her grew. Her hands fed her family, clothed them and loved them dearly. She was a beautiful seamstress. She was a compassionate, unconditional friend to many. She was a strong woman; a role model and mentor. She worked hard all of her life.
Judith is survived by her daughters Annette (Joey) Hardman of Snowflake, AZ, Angela(Matt) Pino, Kathy Pino, and (Sonny) Hollingsworth; step daughter Tyma North, Stepsons; Lonnie Birningham and Tim Birmingham; grandchildren Alex Judd, Dain Swenson, Tyler Roberts, Gabrielle (Devin) Tate, Isabelle Hardman, Tyrel Reeves, Candice Wiseman, Breanne (Randy) Stump, Morgan (Kenny) Eskelson, James Pino, Conner Pino, Lucas, Grace, Sophia, Marcus Pino; and many great grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband Kent Reeves; husband Jerry Whitt; son Jay Reeves; son-in-law Anthony Pino. Judy, our mother, will be greatly missed.
There will be an open house memorial held in Judy’s honor, to celebrate her life at her daughter’s home on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 3:00PM-6:00PM, at 1103 Louise Meadow Dr. (11370 So.) South Jordan, Utah, 84095.
