REIMER, Ruth

Ruth Reimer, of Mesa, died April 26, 2004 at Banner Baywood Hospital following surgery. She was born July 3, 1923 in Salt Creek, Wyoming to Arthur Dewey Tyrrel and Mary Porter Tyrrel and grew up in Monroe County and Ottumwa, Iowa. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Max Christy, husband, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Walter Reimer of Mesa, AZ., son Donald Christy of Cedar Rapids, IA., daughter Jeanne Mitchell of Paris, MO., grandson Jared Mitchell of Palmyra, MO. and two great-grandsons, Logan and Mason Mitchell, a sister Maxine Hart of Las Cruces, NM., a sister Katherine Schiwitz of Austin, TX. and a brother Robert Tyrrel of Las Vegas, NM. Graveside services were held Thursday at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa. Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/28/2004.
