BINDER, Margie Jewell

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Margie Jewell Binder (September 13, 1949 - April 15, 2013) Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Margie Jewell Binder (Niece), passed peacefully into eternal life on April 15, 2013 in Page, Arizona. She was born in Lamar, Colorado on September 13, 1949 to Oscar L. Niece and Mary Dell Hoover. She was raised in Bristol, Colorado and attended Granada High School. She met Gerald Lynn Binder in Lamar, Colorado and they were married on August 31, 1966. Four children were born from this union. They moved to Page, Arizona in 1979 and she remained there until her death. Survivors include her children, Kerry (Maria) Binder of Beaver Dam, Arizona, Kimberly (Brian) Holman of Grand Junction, Colorado, Chelsea (Chad) Hendrickson of Page, Arizona and Courtney Harris of Page, Arizona, her grandchildren, Jason, Brandon and Cambrie Holman of Grand Junction, Colorado, Austin and Dillon Hendrickson of Page, Arizona, and Daniel Befort and LeAnna Cox of Mesquite, Nevada, and one sister, Mary (H.R.) Chlarson of Eager, Arizona, and one aunt Marie Hoover of Holly, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lynn Binder, her parents Oscar and Mary Niece and numerous family members. A private family viewing was held on Sunday April 21, 2013 in Flagstaff, Arizona at Norvel Owens Mortuary. Her family will spread her ashes in Lamar, Colorado with her late husband Gerald on the family farm. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
