The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/26/2013 Hubert Goclanney Sr. entered into rest April 20, 2013, in Whiteriver. He was born Nov. 3, 1937, in Whiteriver. Hubert is survived by his wife Marilyn Goclanney; daughters: Lydia Goclanney, Ramona Goclanney, Alvina Gregg, Dorothea Truax, Almira Truax; sons: Hilbert (Pepper) Goclanney, Hubert (Mache) Goclanney Jr.; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brothers: Phillip Goclanney, Paul Goclanney, Elmer Rolland Sr., Leto Goclanney; sisters: Helena Bonito, Joanna Suttle and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Josiah Goclanney; mother Iris Nashio; sons: Herbert Taft Goclanney, Bernardo Les Goclanney, Robert Goclanney-Norvel and sisters: Alberta Suttle, Beverly Goclanney. Hubert’s body will be brought home to his residence at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, for a two-night wake at 305 W. Chinatown St. in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 28, at The Riverside Church in East Fork, with Pastor Valentina Begay officiating. Interment will be at the Sun Rise Hill Cemetery in East Fork.
