Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, April 24, 2013 - Dale E. Roberts passed away April 22, 2013 after his yearlong battle with leukemia. Born to Roy and Alice Roberts of New York, Aug. 30, 1949. In 1991 Dale and Linda relocated from New York to Lake Havasu City, where they became owners and operators of ‘Dale’s Kitchen’ until 2002. They also continued to own and operate ‘The Mophead Cleaning Company’ and ‘Careful Carpet Cleaning.’ Dale was employed at Smoketree Elementary School where he found joy working with the children and staff. Dale enjoyed boating and having fun on the lake, fishing, playing in the pool with his grandchildren, wood working soaking in his hot tub and riding his Harley. Dale’s true passion in life was making others happy and doing for everyone, especially his loving wife, Linda. Dale is survived by his wife, Linda; two sisters and two brothers; his children, Lisa, Jennifer, Dale, Brittney and Justin; his grandchildren, Melissa, Lucas, Darcia, Callahan, Coby, Jasia, Calypso and his great-grandson Joshua. Services will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 1605 S. McCulloch Blvd., Friday, April 26, at 4:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served following in the lower level of the church.
