MORGAN, Elizabeth B. (Betty)

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, April 27, 2013 Elizabeth B. Morgan, 95 of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Thursday April 25, 2013. She was born on August 29, 1917 in Los Angeles, California. Betty worked for Disneyland for 17 years. She was an accomplished freelance artist. Betty attended Clarkdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed art and wrote children’s stories and loved to take walks with her son Larry. Betty will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her son Dennis Williams. She is survived by sons Larry of Cottonwood and Michael (Donna) of Texas and daughters Linda Williams of Colorado and Vicky Upendale of New Mexico. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 29 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 10:30am at Clarkdale Baptist Church.
