(Maiden Name: Sanders)
Arizona Journal-Miner, Arizona Territory
Tuesday, March 9, 1909
After an illness of only twelve days, Mrs. Edna Sanders Larrimore succumbed to a stomach and liver complication Sunday morning at 2:30 O’clock at her home in McCabe. Her remains were taken in charge by the Ruffner undertaking establishment and brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. A. E. Blackburn in this city, awaiting internment.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 PM from the Marina Street Methodist Church. Reverend L. W. Wheatley will officiate at the obsequies. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery.
Mrs. Larrimore was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Sanders, pioneers of this city. She was born in the Sanders family home from here May 8, 1886. She was raised to womanhood in this city and moved with her parents to Humboldt three years ago. A year later she was joined in matrimony with Marion T. Larrimore.
Besides her husband, she leaves surviving her parents, four sisters, Mrs. A. E. Blackburn, Mrs. Clarence Jackson, Ms. Rollie Sanders and Ms. Louise Sanders of this city and two brothers, Ed. J. Sanders and M. T. Sanders, now residents of California. The brothers will arrive here this morning to attend the funeral.
A member of one of the respected and widely known pioneer families of Northern Arizona, Mrs. Larrimore was a favorite in a large circle of friends. Her charming manners endeared her to all who enjoyed her acquaintance. Her death is deeply regretted and the sympathy of the community goes to those she leaves behind in their bereavement in the loss of a loving wife, daughter, and sister. A number of residents of Humboldt and McCabe arrived here last night to attend the funeral and several others are expected this morning.
