Owens Livingston Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona William (Bill) H. Shea February 20, 1930 - April 28, 2013 William H. (Bill) Shea, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away at his home on April 28, 2013. He was 83. Bill was born to the late William T. and Elizabeth Vibbert Shea in Mt. Kisco, Westchester County, New York on February 20, 1930. Bill graduated from Mt. Kisco High School in 1947 and also that same year he started as a sheet metal helper and became an apprentice in the sheet metal union at 18. In 1951 he then joined the Mt. Kisco Fire Department and in 1952 he became a Sheet Metal Journeyman. That same year he married Barbara Madsen and together they had 4 children. He built their home in Bedford Hills, New York in 1954 and in 1967 he moved his family to Tucson and bought a home there. In 1995 his wife Barbara died and in 1996 he met his second wife and after being companions for eleven years they married in 2007. Bill had a wood shop in his garage where he spent many hours building children’s furniture and other items from wood with wife Geri. He was a volunteer at Summit Hospital for 9 years at the surgery check in desk where he enjoyed greeting everyone that entered the hospital. He was a member of the Show Low Elks Lodge #2090 where he had many friends. Bill will be missed by all whom had the privilege to know him. He is survived by his wife, Geri Shea and four children, William M. (Peggy) of Tucson, Steven R. of Phoenix, Nancy B. (Robert) Lorentsen of Sierra Vista and Patti Shea (Bill) Drost of Phoenix; four grandchildren, James (Marie) Lenz of Kentucky, Hayley and Katie Shea of Tucson and Lora Lorentsen of Sierra Vista; 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter and Miles Lenz of Kentucky and five step-children, David Bash, Dennis Bash, Andrea Taubenkrow of Oregon and Valerie Pratt and Ray Huffman of Show Low. Memorial services will be held from 4:00-6:00PM Friday May 17, 2013 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, Arizona.
