Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 Pascual R. Gutierrez, age 87, of Mesa, Ariz. and a native of Arizona, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Mesa. Born in Ajo, Ariz., Pascual was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and worked for Arizona Public Service for 35 years. He was also a proud graduate of Arizona State College. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elva; daughters, Jessie Montano, Mary LoDestro, and Susan Tellez; son, Joseph; six grandchildren; and sisters, Emma Daniel and Dora Chavez. Pascual was a loving and caring husband, father, and Tata who always put the interests and needs of his family above his own. He always had a kind word and smile for anyone who knew him. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler 85225, with rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St., Chandler. Pascual will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May you rest in peace, Dad. We love you! In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Pascual’s memory to Hospice of the Valley.
