MARROW, James (Jimbo)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, May 01, 2013 James “Jimbo” Marrow, 67, left his treasured family and friends Saturday, April 20, to join his spiritual family in Heaven. He worked all his life as an underground miner and fought many battles with his health problems over the past years, but finally he is at peace and pain-free. He had a special twinkle in his eyes and a warm welcome to his smile that endeared him to everyone who met him. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, working on cars, spending time with his grandchildren, and visiting with his many friends. But his failing physical condition became increasingly harder on him, making it impossible for him to enjoy all the things he loved to do. His mother Merle Gregorash and sister Char, who live in Colorado, are deeply grieved by his unexpected passing. His final resting place will be close to them in Mountain Vale Memorial Park in Canon City, Colo. The funeral rites were held at 11 a.m. (MST) Monday (April 29). He was a beloved and adored father and grandfather to his daughter Darcey Barakat; her husband Fadi; and their children Zachary, Ryan, and Adam. His son John Morrow; wife Guadaluper; sons AJ and Eli; John’s stepchildren Maritza and Jesse in Avondale; and John’s daughters Mandy and Lathena, and their four children in Colorado Spring. Colo., will all miss him dearly. His wife Casey shared the past 25 years with him, loving and caring for him, and no one will ever replace him in her heart. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11 at the Mt. Hope Church in Wickenburg.
