Services for Perry L. Whitley, 32, of 515 W. Buist, will be tomorrow in Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. Burial will be in Double Butte Cemetery, Tempe.
Mr. Whitley was electrocuted Wednesday, Dec. 29,[30] 1959, in an accident in the yard of Union Rock and Material Co., 2800 S. Central, where he was employed as an operating engineer.
A native of Calumet, Oklahoma, Mr. Whitley had resided here the past 18 years. A member of the operating engineers union, he was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Orvetta; a daughter, Maxine; four sons, David, Kenneth, Douglas, and Robert; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Whitley, all of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Hays, Flagstaff, and Mrs. Larry Drayfahl, San Jose, Calif; and a brother, Kenneth Whitley, Hawaii.
