SCIBELLA, D. Richard

D. Richard Scibella a self made man and resident of Paradise Valley Az passed away on Tues. April 13, 2004. 

Dick left New York at age 17 to seek his fortune "out west" where he began his career as a stock boy in the wholesale shoe industry. He retired in 1985 as Vice President of the Georgia Boot Company, when he and his wife Nona began spending half of their time at their residence in Honolulu HI, allowing them to spend more time with their daughter and grand daughter. 

Dick gave to charities too numerous to mention, enjoyed gardening as a hobby and designed an intricate irrigation system for his exotic citrus trees. 

He will be missed beyond measure by his friends, his wife Nona, daughter Marsha Bohnett, his son in law Newell Bohnett and his granddaughter Paula Fried. 

Services were held Sat Apr 16, 2004, at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S Rural Tempe Az
