THOMPSON, Jacqueline (Jackie) Louise

Jacqueline (Jackie) Louise Thompson, age 71, passed on April 12, 2004 after a long illness. Her husband and son were by her side. Daughter of Louis and Laura M. Bruno, born in Sweets, Utah on January 24, 1933. Survivors include: Lorin (Chuck) Thompson, her husband of 53 years; son: Charles Thompson; and daughter-in-law: Marina De-Pilato; two grandchildren: Anthony and Mario who she loved dearly. She gave 34 years of Federal Civil Service. She was always ready to help anyone and was a very strong, caring person. She loved cats and saved many a stray cat and dog. Jackie had numerous friends who will miss her. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and a brother. Memorial Services are pending. One of Jackie's favorite verses: "Weep Not"- "Do not weep for me when I am gone for I have friends in the great beyond. All the little ones I used to feed will come to me in my time of need. They will purr and bark in great delight and I will hold and hug them tight. Oh what a great day that will be when my furry friends all welcome me." Published in the Arizona Republic on 4/16/2004.
