Carrie G. Tinsley (nee Tonkin), of Phoenix, AZ. passed away on March 31, 2004. Formerly of Oermann, MO; beloved wife of the late Walter L. Tinsley, Sr.: dearest mother of Carrie J. Eggert, Connie (William) McLeer, Timothy (Carol) Tinsley and Walter (Shirley) Tinsley, Jr.: dear grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 24; great-great grandmother of 3; she is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother; our dear sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. A memorial service was held at First Southern Baptist church located at 16033 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, AZ. Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Published in the Arizona Republic from 4/15/2004 - 4/16/2004.
