The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, May 04, 2013 Frank W. Staskon Sr., age 86, of Dewey, Ariz., passed away at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Feb. 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Natalie; son Frank Jr.; and daughter Wendy A. Tea. Frank served in the Armed Forces. He was retired from the Detroit Police Department where he served from 1950 to 1975. He was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party. He is survived by a half-sister, Anne Tyndall of Lecanto, Fla.; and two daughters-in-law, Pat Touzeau of Perrinton, Mich., and Nancy Stanton of Dewey. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 3755 Willow Creek Road, Prescott. The family suggests that donations be made to YRMC, the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation or the charity of your choice. Per his request, Frank's body was donated to science, and the Dodge-Adair Funeral Home in Tucson, Ariz., handled the final arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
