West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, May 07, 2013 Rowland D. Porter, 70, of Buckeye died May 3, 2013. Mr. Porter was born Oct. 23, 1942, to John and Madolyn Porter. He is survived by his wife, Sharran Porter; two daughters, Shelly Kelly and Rene Mumme; one son, Rowland Porter Jr.; one sister, Kathleen Porter; two brothers, Russell Porter and Richard Porter; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be at 1 p.m., with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
