Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Lois Claridge October 8, 1921 ~ May 4, 2013 Funeral services for Lois Claridge, age 91 and a longtime resident of Safford, will be conducted Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Safford by Rev. Bob Holliday. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery. Lois passed away peacefully Saturday morning, May 4, 2013, at her residence. Lois was born October 8, 1921, in Paxton, Illinois, the daughter of Ashton and Ellen Pearson Wesslund. Lois leaves to mourn: her two daughters, Lynne and Lois Ann; and her son, Clifford. The family will receive friends Friday evening, May 17, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home.
