West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Friday, May 10, 2013 Helen Fay Roden, 80, of Buckeye died May 7, 2013, at her home. Ms. Roden was born Feb. 12, 1933, in Grady, Okla., to John and Minnie Brantley. She moved to Arizona in 1960 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rainbow Valley Christian Center. She is survived by one son, Timothy Roden of Buckeye; three daughters, Theresa Scisson of Buckeye, Georgia Weir of Buckeye and Donna Garcia of Avondale; two brothers, James and Jerry Brantley; two sisters, Jewell Skinner and Peggy Reed of All Clovis, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Services were held. Funeral arrangements were made by Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home.
