SMITH, Hobart (Bo)

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Friday, May 10, 2013 Hobart "Bo" Smith, 82, of Goodyear died May 7, 2013. Mr. Smith was born June 17, 1930, in Portland, Ore. He worked as a general contractor who specialized in remodeling. After his retirement, he purchased and ran a plumbing wholesale company until his second retirement in 1995, when he moved to PebbleCreek in Goodyear with his wife, Shirley. He was a veteran of the Army and served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by two children, Sheri Lee and Brooks. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Shirley; one son, Bart of Oregon; and three sisters, Janet, Doris and Roberta. At his request, no memorial service will be held and his body was donated to the Science and Health Anatomical Center of Arizona.
