The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, May 09, 2013 David Murray, born in Culver City, CA passed away May 6, 2013 at Page Springs Assisted Living Facility. He loved to volunteer with Friends of the Forest and worked for many years at the Sedona Visitors Center. He was employed at General Electric and Honeywell as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement in 1997. Dave enjoyed woodworking and built his Sedona home. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy and is survived by his two daughters, Bonnie Murray Travis (David) and Kristina Murray. Dave is also survived by his brother Allen Murray (Penny) and sister Sue Holland. He had 4 grandchildren (Amanda, Aimee, Trey and Kelsey) and two great-grandchildren (Kihlee and Kamren). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 100 Arroyo Pinon Drive, Sedona. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Andrews Sacristy Building Fund or the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
