Joshua Ray Graffius, 13, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Kingman. He was born on April 25, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was a student at White Cliffs Middle School and a member of Journey Church.
He enjoyed hunting, making music, riding ATVs and motorcycles, and sports, especially football.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa Graffius; brothers, Jeremiah and Jacob Graffius; sister, Jocelyn Graffius; and father, Ron Graffius; his grandparents, Gary and Betty Graffius, and Robert and Paula McNichols; his great-grandparents, Alice Bosler, Flo Schnieder, and Ralph McNichols; his aunts and uncles, Gary Graffius, Jared and Kelly Starks, and Kevin and Mary McNichols; and his cousins, Kaylee Starks, Kristen Starks, Jacey Starks, Ricky Vance, Courtney McNichols and Joseph McNichols.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joshua Graffius Benefit Memorial account at any Wells Fargo Bank.
At 6 p.m. today, students will have an opportunity to meet at the Ministry Center of Journey Church, 4798 N. Stockton Hill Road.
During this time, students can pray, express their thoughts, write letters and meet with counselors.
From 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 10, there will be a public viewing at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
At noon on Saturday, May 11, there will be a public service to celebrate the life of Joshua Graffius at the Lee Williams High School Auditorium, 400 Grandview Ave. Immediately following, the family will have a private ceremony at Mountain View Cemetery.
