HEART, Frank


Frank Heart, 67, of Phoenix, died July 30, 2003. He was born at home, in Mesa, Arizona on October 14, 1935. Frank, an Arizona native, retired from the Scottsdale Unified School District where he was the Transportation Department's shop foreman and previously a mechanic for Reed Mullen Ford in Phoenix. He later moved to Cornville with his wife, Betty Joanne. His love of demolitions led him to become a licensed pyrotechnician for Fireworks Productions where he fired off July 4th shows at the Firebird baseball stadium and many other places over the years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2003 in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ. Frank will be greatly missed by his wife, Betty Joanne, daughters, Amy Marie Heart and Lori Lynn Talley, son-in-law, Jim Talley, his granddaughter, Brittany Flansburg, his sister, Darlene Calvert-Smith, his nieces and his two nephews and his many friends.
