The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, May 11, 2013 Dorothy J. Heim, 82 of Clarkdale, passed away on May 7, 2013. She was born on July 8, 1930 in Denver, Colorado to Alfred and Josephine Schmidt. Dorothy worked for Tempe Community Hospital in Tempe, Arizona. She was a Deaconess for her church. She loved to sit for her great-grand kids and always gave lots of love to everyone. We love you and you will be missed. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband George Heim Sr. and brother Earl Schmidt. She is survived by her son George Heim, Jr (Susan) of Camp Verde; daughter Cynthia Moeser; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:30pm at Cottonwood Seventh Day Adventist Church, 51 West Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist School, 51 West Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
